We believe furniture should be beautiful and built to last. That’s why the artisans who make your newΒ Room Service sofa, sectional, loveseat or chair take such care with every step of the hand-crafting process. Here are the details on the warranty protection that comes with every piece of furniture you order.

Frame and suspension

We offer a limited lifetime guarantee on the frame and suspension inside your new furniture. If it warps, twists or otherwise fails to perform in any way during the normal lifetime of the piece, we’ll make it right -- no questions asked. See below for more details.

Cushions

All fabrics are chosen for durability and resistance to stains, rips and other signs of wear. We offer a 3-year warranty for the cushions on your new furniture. During that time, if you find that your cushions sag or lose their original appearance, call us to arrange for new cushions to be made and delivered to you. See below for details.

FRAMES USED IN UPHOLSTERED AND LEATHER PRODUCTS

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY (UP TO 5 YEARS)

A Limited Lifetime Warranty applies to all frames and springs used in sofas, couches, loveseats, upholstered chairs, ottomans, sectionals and sleepers.Β CODA Industries warrants these components to you, the original retail purchaser, to be free from material manufacturing defects. Lifetime is defined as the normal useful life of the product. CODA Industries will pay, within the five years from the date of purchase, reasonable and customary labor rates to repair or replace the defective parts. Customer is responsible for pickup and delivery to and from CODA Industries' Los Angeles factory.

SLEEPER MECHANISM

3-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

CODA Industries warrants to you, the original retail purchaser, all mechanisms used in sleepers for three years from the date of purchase, to be free from material manufacturing defects. CODA Industries will pay, within the three years from the date of purchase, reasonable and customary labor rates to repair or replace the defective mechanism. Customer is responsible for pickup and delivery to and from CODA Industries' Los Angeles factory.

CUSHIONS

3-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

All seat cushion cores will soften with normal use and will conform to the shape of the user. This shall be considered normal wear, and shall not be considered a loss of resiliency or a material defect. Within one year from the date of purchase, CODA Industries will replace, for the original retail purchaser only, a cushion core that has material manufacturing defects. CODA Industries will pay, within one year from the date of purchase, reasonable and customary labor rates to repair or replace the defective materials. Customer is responsible for pickup and delivery to and from CODA Industries' Los Angeles factory.

FABRIC + LEATHER

1-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

CODA Industries warrants to you, the original purchaser, for a period of one year from the date of purchase all upholstered fabrics against seam slippage, fraying and dye transfers. This warranty does not cover tears, flattening of nap, pilling, fading or shrinking and is not valid when heavy soiling or abuse is evident. This warranty also does not cover protective finishes, velvets, or velvet types since by their very nature, these fabrics are of soft texture and will crush, shade and mark more readily than most fabrics. These characteristics are in no way to be considered a defect. CODA Industries will pay, within one year from the date of the original purchase, reasonable and customary labor rates to repair or replace any defective materials. Customer is responsible for pickup and delivery to and from CODA Industries' Los Angeles factory.

CODA Industries does not warranty leather coverings once the furniture is received and accepted by the customer. Leather is a natural product, and, as such, each hide will reflect its own individuality. Some variations of shade and tone are to be expected as are the nicks, scratches, and wrinkles that only occur in genuine leather. These characteristics are in no way to be considered a defect.

DISCLAIMER

NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTY HAS BEEN MADE OR WILL BE MADE ON BEHALF OF CODA INDUSTRIES WITH RESPECT TO THE FURNITURE AND ITS PARTS, OR THE OPERATION, REPAIR, OR REPLACEMENT OF THE FURNITURE AND ITS PARTS. FURTHERMORE, NO REPRESENTATIVE OF CODA INDUSTRIES IS TO MAKE ANY CHANGES OR MODIFICATIONS TO THESE LIMITED WARRANTIES. IN NO EVENT SHALL CODA INDUSTRIES BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, SUCH AS LOSS OF USE, INCONVENIENCE, LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PERSONAL PROPERTY, WHETHER INDIRECT OR DIRECT, AND WHETHER ARISING IN CONTRACT OR TORT. IN NO EVENT SHALL CODA INDUSTRIES' RESPONSIBILITY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT OR ITS REPLACEMENT.

CLAIM PROCEDURE

If a problem should arise that you feel should be covered by our limited warranties, call us. The original bill of sale is necessary for the fulfillment of the warranty. Please make sure any claim for warranty service is accompanied by the necessary information to satisfy the warranty requirements (ie. photos, descriptions, etc.). CODA Industries is not responsible for freight or shipping damage, nor for the cost of transporting your furniture to and from CODA Industries to facilitate a repair.
